Sales Development Representative

Overview
Funnel Clarity, the world-leader in B2B sales prospecting training, is looking for an ambitious and accomplished Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-performing team at our company headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. Produced from hundreds of thousands of live sales calls made over a ten-year period, Funnel Clarity's prospecting program is the only one based on real-world empirical evidence and it is the foundation of our own SDR onboarding program. We’re ready to empower the right candidate to take his or her profession to the highest level. Job Description
Our business is growing rapidly and each SDR plays a pivotal role in keeping the company sales funnel full. The SDR’s mission is to field incoming leads, conduct prospect research and make outbound calls to schedule as many qualified appointments as possible for our sales team.

Job Responsibilities
As the first point of human contact with our prospective clients, the SDR must be a “brand ambassador” who can impress prospects by proficiently modeling the very skills we teach.

  • Learn, articulate and demonstrate Funnel Clarity's prospecting best practices
  • Master the unexpected sales call—Funnel Clarity's 21st Century improvement on the “cold call”
  • Manage and qualify inbound lead traffic
  • Prospect, uncover and qualify new leads
  • Schedule qualified and confirmed appointments for the sales team
  • Work closely with the sales organization to ensure effective lead-passing and to verify the quality of leads passed
  • Use Salesforce.com to track and measure all activity
  • Use dialing software for calling efficiency and tracking

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 12-month track record of achieving quota in an SDR or similar role
  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Comfortable and articulate on the phone
  • Strong writing skills for effective email prospecting

  • Generous base salary + quarterly commissions based on performance
